I have seen young people sit whilst older people or pregnant woman look on.
Today I was seated next to the priority seat when a lady who was a little to the hefty side boarded. I had spotted her, and was not able to decipher if the lady was pregnant.
She looked at me and stared as I looked at her and was wondering. As I shifted my gaze to the back, I saw a couple of young ladies laughing at me. Or perhaps my predicament.
I was not able to ask her outright and was not able to sit on. As I pondered, I decided to just walk away, making it look like I was getting down. As I stepped aside, I saw someone else approaching the seat only to backtrack after seeing the "pregnant" woman approach the seat.
I am glad I did move away. At least, I did give the seat to someone who needed it more than I did.
