Thank you 2012! You were the best :) You gave me shocks which I learned from, memories which I hold onto, strength that has gotten be stronger and love which goes a long way! Thank you. I bow.

2 Days to 2013

Sister L and I had discussed how we manage some people (especially at work) who are really not on the same wavelength. As I was thinking about it, I pretty much recollected back on the wise words of a module that I am taking that discusses various philosophies.

Confucius says - Do not do unto others, what you do not want others to do unto you.

I found my answer :) I should therefore respect everyone's existence. Take the good from people and learn from it. The bad, just leave it behind.

I was asked how I tackle stress and I quickly answered that I take long walks.

It allows me to reflect and clear my thoughts. More than anything, it allows me to decide how I am going to handle any situation at hand.

While it was 24th December some place in the world and 25th in another part of the world, L and I were discussing the consumption of meat and the hope to eventually become a vegetarian.

Afterwhich L was sharing his website when I mentioned something that I ought to instill in myself

"Creativity is very subjective. It primarily comes to the world,

only when the creator loves it as much and is ready to fight all critics.

No one is going to give it a second look unless you are ready to defend your creation."

Awesome things do transpire in the company (even in the greatest of distance) of awesome people.

Over the years, I have realised that people whom one can really relate to are rare to come by.

By my definition of relating, I mean about relationships amongst friends which happens fast where the understanding quotient somehow allows for friends to understand what is transpiring without even the use of words over time.

I believe that this kind of friendship go a long way and are to be cherished.

When I met up with G recently, we talked about work woes. Thing is, everytime we end up talking about ideas about the future and how we are going to make a difference.

It is interesting how we are unanimous in our need to effect changes.
